Dean Feng Sheng Hu and the strategic planning steering committee invite faculty, staff, and students to submit experiences, thoughts, and goals for the 2021 Arts & Sciences Strategic Plan.
The Arts & Sciences strategic planning process is well underway, and the committee is busy gathering thoughtful, creative insights from the entire A&S community. Many faculty, staff, and students have already contributed to focus groups or committed to doing so in the near future, highlighting the community's enthusiasm for engaging in this process and taking the Arts & Sciences mission to heart.
Dean Feng Sheng Hu and members of the strategic planning committee are asking all A&S faculty, staff, and students to share their experiences, thoughts, and goals for the school in this brief survey.
The committee welcomes all ideas – big and small, bold and practical, audacious and obvious – and asks the community to share their opinions and insights openly, without reservation. Submission will be anonymous, and the strategic planning steering committee will carefully consider all feedback. Completing the survey may take as little as five minutes, but there are also opportunities to invest more time and share ideas more fully.
Dean Hu and the committee encourage faculty, staff, and students to embrace this opportunity to share thoughts on what Arts & Sciences needs and what the school should be doing. Sincere input from the entire community is essential to this process, which marks a critical step forward in articulating a shared vision and garnering the resources and support Arts & Sciences needs.
